The day begins in a village that can only be reached by funicular, high above the Glarus Alps, where there is no traffic at all. Wrapped in warm blankets, you settle into a horse-drawn carriage for a slow ride through the snow.

There is nothing to hear but harness bells and snow under the hooves, and time to take photographs of the peaks, the forests and the wooden farmhouses. Afterwards the car takes you to a chocolate factory for a tasting of Swiss chocolate before the drive back.
