Switzerland is where many of our journeys begin. Zurich is our base. The connections run from there to every corner of the country.
St. Moritz, Zermatt, Gstaad, Verbier, Interlaken. Each destination has its season and its logic. We design privately guided journeys built around experiences rather than logistics. Lucerne and Geneva connect naturally with the alpine regions. The routing matters as much as the destinations.

The Bahnhofstrasse boutiques. A private dining room in Zurich-West. A table at a restaurant that stopped taking public reservations months ago. We have worked in this city for more than twenty years. The access is real.
Alpine Logistics
Zurich to Zermatt in winter requires someone who has done it before. Transfers, property arrivals, ski guide introductions, and equipment arrangements handled in advance. St. Moritz during the White Turf season. Verbier during peak week. We know when to book and what to say.
Private Transport Circuits
Multi-city circuits across Switzerland with private drivers and consistent vehicles. Zurich, Lucerne, Interlaken, Gstaad, Geneva in a single itinerary. Helicopter transfers available between alpine destinations when timing requires it.
Seasonal Experiences
Switzerland changes completely by season. Summer in the Engadin. Autumn in the vineyards above Montreux. Winter at altitude. Each season has specific properties, specific activities, and specific timing. We plan around the calendar, not against it.

What does Concierge Atelier arrange in Switzerland?
Switzerland is where the practice began and where it runs deepest. We arrange full private days in Zürich, Lucerne and the Engadine, winter weeks in Zermatt and St. Moritz, and quiet routes over the passes with drivers who know them in February. Hotels, tables, guides and access are held together by one contact from the first conversation to the drive home. Multi-day journeys here are composed through Private Travel Design.
How far ahead should we book a winter trip to St. Moritz or Zermatt?
For February in St. Moritz or Zermatt, book by September. Badrutt’s Palace and the Mont Cervin release their best suites early, and school holiday weeks close first. A November request usually means compromising on the room, not the resort.
Can you arrange the Glacier Express privately, or a better alternative?
Yes, and we usually suggest the Excellence Class carriage or a private rail and car combination instead. The full eight hours from Zermatt to St. Moritz is long. We often break the route with lunch in Andermatt and continue by car.
Is one week enough to see Switzerland properly?
One week covers Zürich, Lucerne, and one Alpine base such as Zermatt or Gstaad without rushing. Ten days adds Geneva and the Lavaux vineyards at a proper pace. We build routes around two hotels, not five.
Do you meet clients in Zürich before a journey begins?
Yes, Zürich is our home city and most journeys start over coffee here. We can meet at your hotel, at the airport on arrival, or at the Baur au Lac if you prefer neutral ground. From there the itinerary is walked through in person.
When To Visit
The Alps are accessible year-round, but December through March brings the best snow conditions for those seeking altitude.
